Jérôme Ferrer and his brigade of hope
On November 12, 2014, master chef Jérôme Ferrer welcomed guests to the BIRKS Café par Europea for the 5th edition of his cocktail dinner in support of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau.
Close to 150 people attended the event, which enabled organizers to collect the sum of $28,430.
“The generosity of the guests and my loyal friends reminded me, once again, that together we can do a lot for these children.” said Jérôme Ferrer, chef and co-owner of Groupe Europea and host of the event.
“For the last five years, Jérôme has been exceptionally generous in planning this event and calling attention to the cause of children with cancer. With his involvement, he generates a great deal of hope. On behalf of the 2,000 families from every corner of Quebec, thank you Jérôme!” said Pierre Bruneau, spokesman for the Fondation Charles-Bruneau.
Several public figures – including Paul Doucet, Alexandre Dubé, Amélie Veille, Lynda Thalie, Simon Durivage, Thierry Daraize and Francine Grimaldi – attended the event to support and recognize the fight waged by thousands of children with cancer. The evening was capped off with a warm and heartfelt performance by Ima.
