• Each year, 15 to 30 new cases are diagnosed at CHUS.
• 80% of children treated at CHUS come from the Estrie region.
• 15% of patients come from Centre-du-Québec and part of the Montérégie region.

Pediatric oncology care provided at CHUS in 2011–2012:

• 714 visits to the pediatric chemotherapy centre
• Close to 220 chemotherapy treatments administered
• Close to 100 children followed up for cancer
