Return of the Cascades Fluff & Tuff® product sale in support of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation
The Charles-Bruneau Foundation is pleased to support Cascades and IGA in the return of this promotion for a childhood without cancer. For the occasion, a fundraising campaign will be held from June 22 to 28, 2023 in all IGA stores in Quebec and New Brunswick.
Victoria encourages you to give
This year, Victoria Paquin, a 14-year-old in remission since 2021, is the face of the campaign. Victoria was treated at the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau at CHU Sainte-Justine. She is already well known to the Foundation, as she is one of the heroines of the next edition of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau. With her family, she is once again committed to an initiative that makes a difference in the lives of young people like her, hence the campaign slogan “Donner, ça fait grandir!
Victoria Paquin, 14, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of 10. She lives in Varennes with her parents and two sisters, Camélia and Stella.
She had to undergo weekly follow-ups at the hospital: chemo, samples, punctures and transfusions. It was a difficult period, but Victoria has been in remission since the summer of 2021. A lover of nature and literature, curious and passionate, Victoria brings an artist’s eye to life. Cooking, drawing and dancing have accompanied her through the ups and downs of her treatment adventure, and remain passions to this day.
