320,000 RAISED FOR THE 10TH EDITION OF THE CIRCUIT BLEU CHARLES-BRUNEAU PRESENTED BY PELICAN
As part of the 10th edition of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau, over 155 participants gathered at Parc national des Îles-de-Boucherville for the closing ceremony, after two great days of kayaking and paddleboarding. Partners, sponsors, ambassadors, child heroes and families attended the unveiling of the $320,000 raised by the event.
Participants paddled on the water for one or two days to advance pediatric cancer research, giving hope to the 2,000 children with cancer in Quebec every year. Ghilas, 4, in remission from neuroblastoma; Zoé, 7, in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia; and Mia, 10, in remission from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, were among the heroes of this 10th edition.
Paul Doucet, Foundation spokesman and actor, expresses his gratitude for the special event that is the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau presented by Pelican. Paddling on the water alongside passionate and generous people is a unique experience, full of emotion and success with each edition.

The Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau 2023 in figures
- Amount raised: $320,000
- The 10th edition took place on September 16 and 17, 2023
- Two routes: Le Classique (34 or 25 km in 1 day, Saturday and Sunday) and Le Petit Bleu (13, 9.5 or 8 km in 1 day, Saturday and Sunday)
- Nearly 155 participants
- 3 young heroes: Ghilas, 4, Zoé, 7 and Mia, 10.
Since its creation, the event has raised close to $2,000,000 for pediatric hemato-oncology research.
