The Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau 2024 raises $250,000 net for a childhood without cancer

The closing ceremony for the 11th edition of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau presented by Pelican and Cascades took place just minutes after the 160 participants arrived at Parc des Îles-de-Boucherville. Mr. Pierre Bruneau, founder and spokesperson for the Fondation Charles-Bruneau, unveiled the $250,000 net amount raised for this edition. Since the creation of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau, this fundraiser has raised close to $2.5 million, money directly invested in pediatric cancer research.

“The Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau is an outdoor event that offers a unique view of Montreal from its riverbanks. These two days are always full of emotion, and they take place in the middle of September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. All the more reason to get together and join forces for this cause,” says Pierre Bruneau, founder and spokesman of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation.

The Fondation would like to express its deep gratitude to all the participants who rallied around a common cause: a childhood without cancer. A big thank you goes to the event’s presenters, Pelican and Cascades, whose support was essential in maintaining the enthusiasm and dedication of the teams. A special thank you goes to the event’s spokespersons, godmothers and ambassadors: Pierre Bruneau, Paul Doucet, Florence Breton, Mylène Paquette and Émilie Fournel. Finally, a special mention goes to Rania El Ghayour, face of the Circuit bleu 2024 promotional campaign and former heroine of the event, as well as to Lovania and Emma-Ève, the two young heroines, and their families.
