The Fondation Charles-Bruneau was created in 1990 by a group of parents and friends of children with cancer. Its creation was inspired by a dream: To build a Quebec-based facility where children with cancer could receive treatment and where research aimed at finding a cure for the disease could be carried out.
The Fondation believes that children with cancer have a right to the best care available. It therefore supports Quebec's position and development in the area of pediatric cancer.
Currently, more than 2,000 Quebec children are living with cancer and close to 300 new cases are diagnosed every year.
The Fondation wishes that all these children can say one day: "When I grow up, I will be cured!"
