To cure children with cancer:
The Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau is dedicated to fighting against pediatric cancer. Its mission is to finance research and support the development of projects intended to improve the lives of thousands of children with cancer in Quebec.
The Tremblant 24h of skiing is an event that is open to all calibers of skiers and boarders. From December 6 to 8, 2013, nearly 2,000 participants will come together for the largest fundraising event in the ski community. The Tremblant 24h of skiing is a relay challenge for teams of 6 to 12 persons, a festive and fun-filled weekend on the entire site, but first and foremost a fundraiser for the benefit of children.
On September 9, 2013, close to 300 golfers gathered at the Club de Golf Le Mirage for the 18th edition of the Fondation’s golf tournament.
At the close of this magnificent day, members of the organizing committee proudly announced that the event had raised $293,000 in proceeds. These proceeds will allow the Fondation to finance the continued development of the Charles-Bruneau pediatric oncology units at the CHU de Québec and the CHUS as well as the ongoing development of fundamental research in pediatric oncology.
Serving as honorary president of the evening event was Ms. Jocelyn Trottier, Executive Vice-President and CEO of Investissements immobiliers Kevlar Inc.
The members of the organizing committee wish to extend a warm thanks to all the volunteers, donors, partners and participants for this unprecedented success.
July 6, 2013 – After cycling hundreds of kilometres throughout the province, the cyclists taking part in the CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour gathered at the Tohu in Montreal this afternoon to give children with cancer a generous dose of hope. Once again this year, the Tour ended on an electrifying note, as spokespersons Pierre Bruneau, Paul Doucet and Pierre Jobin put their voices together to announce that the spectacular amount of $2,750,000 had been raised, surpassing the initial objective of $2.5 million. Twenty-five years after the death of Charles Bruneau, these proceeds will serve to finance various projects in pediatric oncology.
On November 14, the Fondation announced exciting news for children with cancer and their family in the Quebec City region.
Me Richard Laramée, president of the Fondation’s Board of Directors and Mr. Pierre Bruneau, the Fondation’s spokesperson, were proud to unveil a 5 million dollar donation to the CHUQ. This sum will be dedicated to the reorganization of the pediatric oncology unit.

On Thursday November 22, 2012, the renowned chef Jérôme Ferrer of Europea Group invites you to take part in a cocktail dinner for the benefit of Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau.
This year, some Quebec chefs will join Jérôme to sign their signature bites from their cuisine. Pierre Bruneau, Francis Reddy, André Robitaille, Mélissa and Andrée-Anne from Star Académie and several artists will be on hand for this special evening.
For a third time, the event will be held at Birk’s Café, located on 1240 Square Phillips St., in Montreal.
